What is a cookie?
Cookies are messages sent by the server to the user’s computer, consisting of text files that are downloaded to the user’s terminal (computer / smartphone / tablet) when accessing certain web pages and stored in the user’s memory. Cookies allow, among other things, to collect, store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or his team, see which pages are visited, the connection time, analyze the operation of a page, if there are technical problems, etc. Depending on the information they contain and the way the terminal is used, they can be used to recognize the user. Cookies are sent back to the server every time the user enters that page.
Types of cookies
Technical cookies are essential and necessary for the website to function properly and to use the various options and services it offers.
Session cookies are those that exist only while the user is browsing the web and are deleted at the end.
How to control and delete cookies
Most web browsers accept cookies, but you can change your web browser settings to reject new cookies, disable existing cookies, or notify you when someone sends you a new cookie on your device. To change the configuration follow the instructions provided by each browser:
